Jude B. Roldan Jude B. Roldan Jude Bautista Roldan holds the multifaceted position of music director, pianist, composer and arranger for the Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir. Together with his wife, Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan, their choir became the first-ever "Children’s Choir of the World" winner at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in North Wales, United Kingdom and Choir Olympic Champions at 3rd World Choir Games in Bremen, Germany. Jude began his musical studies with his mother, Felicitas B. Roldan, at 3 1/2 years old and had his first public performance at six. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music where he studied piano and choral conducting. Jude gives composition, arranging and choral workshops around the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and the United States of America. His compositions have been recorded, premiered and performed in festivals and competitions around the world. Jude served as chairman at the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in the Philippines and has been invited as guest conductor adjudicator in choral competitions and festivals around Southeast Asia. He is currently a professorial lecturer at the Centro Escolar University Conservatory of Music where he teaches Piano, Music Theory and Analysis, Arranging and Counterpoint. Jude and his wife are front runners in the children’s choral movement in the Philippines. With the Ave Maria Children’s Choir foundation, they organized the Halina’t Umawit (Come, Let Us Sing), an annual Philippine festival which recognizes accomplishments and artistry of Filipino children’s choirs.
